How to delete your data

You can ask CooBasa to delete your account and personal data at any time, whether you use CooBasa in the app or on WhatsApp. It's free.

In the CooBasa app

1. Open Settings (menu → Settings).
2. Tap Delete account and confirm by typing DELETE.

If you use CooBasa on WhatsApp, or can't open the app

Email privacy@coobasa.com with the subject "Delete my data" and the phone number you use with CooBasa. We may message that number to confirm the request is really yours.

What happens next

• We complete your request within 30 days and confirm by phone, WhatsApp or email.
• We delete your profile, photos, messages, WhatsApp conversation history and any identity documents or certificates still held. If your ID was blocked for fraud or abuse, we keep a one-way fingerprint of the number so it can't be used to apply again.
• Jobs you took part in keep an anonymous record (no name or phone number) where the other person still needs it, for example an open complaint, plus anything the law requires us to keep.
• Reviews you wrote stay visible without your name, so ratings stay fair for others.
